Kevin Grenfell and Simon Banks are two nationally recognised musicians who, in 2000, formed a duo. Both artists had met regularly over the years whilst working together in other ensembles and it was as a result of this that they decided to explore the obvious musical chemistry that has made “This Is What We Do” the high calibre of entertainment that it is today.
Both performers have built themselves solid and respected reputations on the jazz circuit both here and abroad. Together they have managed to embrace music from as wide a range as Scott Joplin to the vocal ballads of Dean Martin, and from Boogie Woogie (a style of which Simon is one of this country’s leading exponents) to the Beatles.
Kevin and Simon love to have fun on stage and the spontaneous humour and repartee form an integral part of their live performances.
The duo offers a compact and affordable entertainment package for all occasions from a corporate event to a private party. “This Is What We Do” will enhance any event where live music is desired.
